Rules for Delivery or shipping a puppy from POOS-4-U

1...No puppy can leave under 10 weeks old ...no exceptions !

2...No puppy can be shipped under 12 weeks old ..no exceptions !

3...All puppies come with shot records ,shots up to date and given by vet ,vet health check and if out of state ,a state health certificate (required )

4...All puppies come with toys ,food ,blanket and other goodies .If you return the pet for any reason all of the above ,including records must be returned with pet before you recieve a refund .

5...All puppies have been wormed at 3 ,4 and 5 weeks with strongit  by me .my vet takes over and worms 2 times before they leave with Drontal .The heart ,lungs, eyes, ears and other are checked by vet .A fecal is also done twice on puppies before they leave.All records are supplied to you .

6...A contract ,either waiting list or available puppy contract ,MUST have the deposit with it before it is considered .

7...All refunds occur in about 90 days from date of canceled contract  or return of puppy .NO travel or holding deposit is returned .You are responsible for all travel expenses to deliver ,ship and return a puppy .The holding fee is 200.00 on any contract for holding puppy whether 10 minutes or 3 months .SEE CONTRACTS !

8...All balances are due 21 days before a puppy is picked up ,shipped or delivered .NO EXCEPTION! If not paid in correct time frame a new date will be set 14 days after balance is paid.

9....I guarentee the puppy for two years on genectic defects that threaten the life of your puppy ie...liver shunt ,heart .Return puppy for full refund of Original cost of puppy only , after a vet has pronounced it genetically unsound .Example ..heart ...liver shunt ...etc. Life threatning illnesses.

10...Picture updates are taken every 3 weeks unless I get a chance to do so in between .I cannot take pictures each time you want them .Please understand ,cleaning ,taking care of puppies ,parents ,rescues,vet trips ,new births ,grooming,updating sites ,answering calls and e-mails and more has to be done on a daily basis .Time and help has to happen before I can get out a camera and just start snapping pictures .So ,updates are about every 3 weeks .

 

First : All airlines are the same .delta ,American ,US Air ...all  put shipped puppies in cargo hold .NONE have a special place for them except where they put all puppies .CARGO !
2.....Does not matter what time of day or night puppy is shipped .Most of the time they sleep during the ride .
3......No puppy should be shipped under 11 weeks of age if possible 12 or older .
4......Be sure that the breeder has new crate ,toys,bed ,food and water .All airlines I know of will not let you put a puppy without food and water ,they check that .Mine go in a new crate ,bed ,toys ,food ,water ,puppy pad ,extra on top taped to the carrier just in case they need it .Mine are Queens and Kings and are treated in this manner by me .You will ever find one of mine in a second hand crate or without what they need and just want .
5......I was reading another site and saw where they claim breeders have stolen pictures of their puppies and e-mailed to other people ,IF ANYONE ever sees one of MINE  on another site or gets and e-mail  from someone besides me with one of mine in it ....PLEASE CONTACT ME .THAT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
6......I am a very busy person ,I have a family ,a Bargin Outlet ,my dogs ,other animals and I do rescue work and deliver puppies .I cannot take pictures everyday .I would be constantly with the camera and no time for my babies and their moms and dads as I get hundreds of e-mails each day about pictures .We update as we can and put on  our site .Usually every 2 to 3 weeks when I make special time just for that .Please understand ,not all breeders sit at the computer or at a desk all day or  leave the work for others and play a game with "I do this and that ' and really do less .I work everyday ,all day and into the night most nights .Sleep is catnaps most of the time for me .
6......A buyer should always contact the breeder they got the puppy from before contacting anyone else .If your breeder does not answer  you ,then please feel free to ask me the question you need help with .
7.....If you  thinking purchasing  a puppy that has a 48 hour guarentee ,one word of advice...DON"T .If  the puppy is not guarenteed for at least 1 week ,then you may have problems .
8.Make sure  the breeder  is listed with the BBB in their area .

HOT DEBATE ! Alternative medicines ,alternative food ! NO  shots ? TOO many ? Raw (BARF ) ,kibble or a mixture ? What do we do ? Where do we seek advice ?
 
 
Well ,I for one believe in MY vet .
The best adivce comes from your vet .He/she knows the best way to treat in the area you live in .Preventative medicines have had profound effects .Parvo is less rampant ,although still everywhere and can stike at anytime ,with the right shots and upkeep ,you can help to conquer it.
There is a hot debate going on ,mainly with people ,about what is best for a cannie or feline .
Although I have a stong opinion on the subject and will share it here .The best advice comes by talking to your vet ,not an article on the net .
Articles on the net by most are either overkill or attention getting objects .'I will  write this article in the most horrible terms I can find and people /other vets will 'look' " This is what most do when they write about shots or food or any other subject .That is why it is very  important to talk to your own vet .True ,articles of interest and hold interest are those that debate or describe in the most detail ,be wary .Alot of vets write them to get attention of other vets and are not meant to be taken to the public .
Now ...first i believe in getting all shots on schedule
second ...the use of kibble as food is the right choice
whether that be holistic or eukanuba ,science diet .I do not believe in the BArf diet .
Three ...YOUR vet is your source of BEST information,what is being tested or debated is just a test or debate .
