RULES AND INFORMATION

1.The State of Alabama requires that any dog or puppy taken out of this state have a State health certificate .This certificate is issued by the vet and a copy is sent to the state .The vet also has to keep a copy .A good vet will not write this certificate out unless he/she  have overseen the health and welfare of the puppy/dog involved and has given the shots up to date .This rule is what most or all States in the USA require to send a puppy out of state .So ,if a breeder will not ship or says you just have to pick up and does not have that health certificate ready for you along with the puppy ...then .BEWARE ...this is not a good breeder and you could have problems .

2. the state of Alabama requires that any dog must have a rabbies shot by the age of 3 months (12 weeks old ) if leaving the state .However in some states that age is 6 months or 4 months andAlabama has a 1 year rabbies shot whereas some states have a 2 or 3 yr shot .The shot is the SAME shot ...there is no difference in them ,the only thing is state requirements ...So any puppy leaving Poos-4-u older than 12 weeks will have a rabbies vaccine before it leaves and a certificate and tag .PLEASE DO NOT LET your vet regive the shot .Sometimes over vaccination can be harmful and there is no sense in it because if your vet doubts the tag and certificate ,all they have to do is verify with my vet the procedure was done .
