INFORMATION on Airlines and Delivery and pickup options .

ATTENTION ! American and other Airlines are cutting back flights ...US Air is no longer shipping puppies ,they are in the middle of a merger with America West and have stopped shipping live animals at this time .

FLIGHT INFO ...

Airlines are cutting back flights ,here in Alabama alot of flights that use to be available to go to the Northeast are no longer available to us .Therefore ,Starting in November 2005 ,all puppies going to any state close to Washington DC will be delivered .We will deliver as far as DC and meet you . There is no alternative as there are a few airlines I will not use . So ,if you are from any state in the Northeast ,please be aware we will be deliverying or you can come and pick up your puppy here .So be prepared for the travel to and from the DC area .

 

We are in the South and it gets HOT here ,so here are some tips for flying out your puppy .

Please be aware that Airlines go by Federal Rules on shipping a puppy ...Below certain temps in the winter and above 80 in the summer is forbidden if the temp is that temp in any city the puppy has to stop in .

For example ...TO California ...American Airlines,from Birmingham or Huntsville  Al ,the connection is Dallas ,Texas and Dallas is HOT in the summer and so most of the time we play shipping on a day to day basis .Since the B'ham airport is 2 or more hours from me and I have to be there a few hours early ,I do not always know what cities come out on the list of NO Fly Into  Info until I am at airport ...So ,it is best if we find alternate ways to fly a puppy in the summer

Example : You can fly to Birmingham Al and I will meet you with puppy ,you can make arrangements for one of us to fly in cabin with puppy (temps do not apply except to Cargo area)  or we can meet half way or I can drive it to you or I can drive to another farther North that has direct flights early morning or night .One is St Louis which is about 9 to 10 hours from me .If this is the case then I would charge an extra charge to drive to these alternate airports .

 

Pick up ...you can always come and pick up your puppy

Delivery ...THis means we drive the puppy to either meet you or a predesignated place to meet you with your puppy .

Delivery and Pick Up Info

Days for picking up your puppy here have changed .Because I cannot be at 2 places at once and I have alot of deliveries/ flyouts  on Saturdays and my vet is not open on Sunday ,this is the time schedule for you to pick up

PICK UP AT MY VET ...TUESDAY  through THURSDAY from 9 am to 5 pm .No pickups on Monday , Friday ,Saturday or Sunday

DELIVERY DAYS ...Friday Evenings  ,Saturday

FLYOUT / SHIPPING DAYS ...SATURDAY ONLY ...unless there is no flight to your area and this is subject to weather and what flights I can get .

Monday is a busy day as it is a day I pick up supplies and will not be available for appointments to pick up .

Sunday is either me driving back from a delivery or a Church day and I will not be making appointments for Pick ups or deliveries on Sundays .
